Our new pitch for our video is below:
We want to start the song, in the brief section where there isn't any music. It will start with a long shot, on a frosty morning. With a male and female silhouette on a bench, it will show the female walk away. Left alone, this male silhouette will then become visible. You see a him in a mid shot, he picks up his guitar and begins to play. It will be as if he's writing the song, and then goes onto play it with his band. In the next section to the music video (roughly 20 seconds) we will have performance shots whilst in the studio with the whole set and band, and then establishing shots of countryside to give a rough sense to the themes the band create. These countryside shots will focus pull in and out of the band in the studio. Roughly half way through the song, he will get off the bench and chase are after her. The video will continue on this way, introducing her into the frame. Showing who the girl was who left at the start, showing their good times. Showing how it's over now, how he is now alone. Yet he has managed to write an amazing song using his emotions. This will cut between the various location shots, of countryside, and the bench. We will go onto have cutaways to add diversity to the video; such as having close up shots of the guitar and strong motions to connect with heavy beats that are in the audio. To end our music video we want to it to strip back down to him playing alone on the bench, as the last line "didn't I my dear" is him singing solo acapella. Showing how that he has written the song, linking back to the beginning, portraying that the song portrayed his emotions.
